We are incredibly proud of De-Roy, who recently represented the views of young people from across the West Midlands at the Influencing the New Generation Black History Month event, hosted by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. As part of this prestigious opportunity, De-Roy took part in a discussion on community safety alongside the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner and the Chief Constable. The conversation explored issues affecting young people and their communities, ensuring that youth voices were heard at the highest level. The interview was recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio WM giving young people a platform to share their perspectives and influence positive change. Well done, De-Roy, for representing both your peers and our school with confidence, maturity and thoughtfulness. We are proud of your contribution to such an important discussion. #ProudToSucceed
