Year 8 pupils had the opportunity to visit University of Birmingham to take part in a special quiz. Competing against teams of schools form across the region, our pupils faced questions on medicine, physiotherapy, nursing and more as they learnt about the different healthcare courses on offer in a fun way. Pupils also had a campus tour and learnt about the differences between school and university, being surprised to learn there are no detentions at university! They were also excited to hear about the financial support that is given to students, ensuring cost is not a barrier to university.
